Award-winning photographer and Fujifilm’s World Wide ambassador, Serkan Günes (b. 1980, Istanbul) lives in Swedish Lapland. He started photography at the age of 22. Through his camera, he discovered the Swedish nature and the Nordic light. Serkan captures the variety in intimate as well as grand landscape. His keen sense for light has become Serkan’s trademark.

AWARDS: Serkan is the first and only Swede who has won the award: ‘’Eric Hosking Award’’, for the best portfolio taken by a young photographer. This competition is organized by BBC Wildlife Magazine and the Natural History Museum in London, and is recognized as the most prestigious wildlife photography award in the world today. Serkan Günes has been named Nature Photographer of the Year (2009) by The Environmental Protection Agency of Sweden.

PUBLICATIONS: Serkans work has published widely all over the world. He has also publicized three book among them the bestseller, The Land of Eight Seasons.

GEAR: Serkan is a Fujifilm’s World Wide ambassador and works with the new medium format camera GFX 50S.
