WITH NAT GEO PHOTOGRAPHER MATTIAS KLUM

COUNTRY: Equador • PHOTO: Wildlife • DATE: Oktober/November 2025 • NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS: 8/12

The Galapagos Islands is an amazing destination. A fabulous wildlife with marine iguanas, giant turtles, penguins and sea lions guarantees spectacular photos and memories for life. I look forward to experiencing life on the Galapagos again – and you are welcome to discover and take pictures with me.

Mattias Klum

In October 2025, Mattias Klum, world-renowned National Geographic photographer, will lead us on a journey in the footsteps of Charles Darwin and the Beagle to the mythical Galapagos Islands. Here, Mattias has completed several National Geographic assignments with the aim of documenting its wildlife and showing the fragility and unique character of the islands. There are few places in the world that can take you as close to wildlife as in the Galapagos. Here you will encounter everything from the fascinating marine iguanas, the blue-footed gannet, giant turtles and curious sea lions. Beautiful and barren landscapes alternate with verdant greenery, black lava cliffs and a constantly changing ocean.

The Galapagos Islands are included in the UNESCO World Heritage list and are considered one of the most unique and biologically outstanding areas in the world. During our days in the Galapagos, we will visit several islands offering different photo opportunities and unique motifs every day.

We will also visit the Charles Darwin Foundation and hear more about how they conduct research and conservation work to save unique animal species on the islands. The islands are home to several different kinds of giant tortoises and other endemic animal species.

Mattias will always be on hand to help you develop your photography skills and get the most out of your camera and the trip. You will also meet Mattias to go through the photos you take during the trip one on one. This will let you be inspired by and develop your photography in the best way with the help of one of the world’s leading nature photographers.

Join Mattias Klum, National Geographic photographer and a internationally recognized photographer, in the Galapagos in October/November 2025 and experience the amazing wildlife of these beautiful islands. Also with us on the trip is Zoom host Daniel Iglesias, is a specialist in tropical reptiles.
