World famous Nat Geo photographer

Mattias Klum, born in Sweden in 1968, has worked full-time as a photographer since 1986 and is considered one of the world’s leading natural history photographers. He is internationally recognized for capturing wildlife, ecosystems, and cultural subjects through articles, books, films, lectures, and exhibitions. His work has taken him on major expeditions across the globe, including to Borneo, India, Brazil, China, and the Galápagos.

PUBLICATIONS, DOCUMENTARIES & AWARDS
Klum’s photography debuted in National Geographic Magazine in 1997, making him one of the youngest photographers ever published by the magazine. He has since contributed 13 cover stories and authored over a dozen books, including The Human Quest, Big World Small Planet, and The Perpetual Calendar of Life (with Jane Goodall). His work has appeared in Stern, BBC Wildlife, and The New York Times, among others.

As a filmmaker, he has directed acclaimed documentaries such as The Coral Eden and The Testament of Tebaran. Klum is a National Geographic Fellow, and WWF Ambassador.
