Photographing sports is one of the most demanding types of photography I know. At the same time, it is also one of the most exciting. Capturing those unique sporting moments is truly amazing. I look forward to teaching you the techniques behind creating great sports images.

During this inspiring sports photography workshop, you will learn how to capture speed, power and emotion in every image. Whether you photograph football, motorsport, athletics or other fast-paced sports, you will gain practical techniques to succeed in action-packed situations.
Over the course of the workshop, Denise will guide you through how to work with the right camera settings, track fast-moving subjects and find the best positions for creating dramatic and engaging images. You will also receive practical tips on autofocus, shutter speeds, composition and how to anticipate the decisive moment.
The workshop combines theory with practical exercises, giving you the opportunity to test the techniques directly in real sports environments. Throughout the workshop, you will receive personal feedback and advice from Dr. Denise Maxwell to help you develop your own style as a sports photographer.
